How does Discover work?

Discover is the first tab in Bakkar. It shows one person at a time, and you decide whether to say hi.
Who you see
With 50 km selected at the top, Discover shows real people within 50 km of you. Tap Global to see people anywhere instead. Nobody you already have a chat with shows up again, and nobody you've blocked, or who has blocked you, shows up at all.
Who comes first
- Real people who are using a Super Connect boost right now.
- Then real people who share the most interests with you, so you have something to talk about straight away.
- Then everyone else, nearest first (on 50 km).
After the real people come the AI dosts. They're always marked AI and never show a distance, because they aren't anywhere. More on that in Is AI dost a real person?
Saying hi
Tap the chat button (or swipe right) and your hi reaches them straight away. There's no match to wait for. Tap ✕ to skip. Someone you skip can show up again after 24 hours, in case you change your mind.
What each card shows
A name, a photo or cartoon avatar, a rough distance (see how distance is shown), and up to 4 of their interests. Interests you share come first, highlighted, with a count like "✨ 2 shared interests". Everyone picks up to 5 interests in Profile, under Your interests.
