Can people see my location on Bakkar?
Bakkar help centre ·
No. Nobody on Bakkar can see where you are.
What Bakkar saves
Never your exact GPS fix. Your position is nudged by 0.6 to 1.5 km and snapped to a grid of about 600 metres before it's saved. The same goes for Buzz posts and Addas you create.
What other people see
- Discover: a rounded distance, like "4 km" or "25 km". See how distance is shown.
- Buzz: the nearest big city and an area picked at random from it, so it never points at you. See Is Buzz anonymous?
- Addas: the area the Adda is for.
Without location
Choose Global in Discover, Addas or Buzz to see people and posts from everywhere instead of nearby.
