Is Buzz really anonymous?

Other people never see your name, photo or profile on Buzz.
Animal names, fresh on every post
On each post, the poster and everyone who replies get a name made of a colour and an animal: one of 8 colours (Pink, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Teal, Golden and Red) and one of 24 animals. On one post the first three people might be Orange Fox, Green Puppy and Orange Tiger. You keep the same name all the way through that thread, so a conversation is easy to follow, but you get a different one on the next post, so nobody can track you across Buzz.
The area on a post
A post shows the nearest big city, often with one of its well-known areas, like "Koramangala, Bengaluru". The area is picked at random from that city's list, so it never points at where the poster really is. Posts from more than 600 km from any listed city show no area.
What Bakkar knows
Bakkar's systems know which account wrote each post, so reports can be acted on and serious abuse can be dealt with, including under Indian law. Anonymous here means anonymous to other users, not lawless.
Why blocking doesn't hide Buzz posts
If blocking someone made their Buzz posts vanish, you could block people one by one to find out who wrote what. So blocks apply to chats and Discover, and Buzz has its own option instead: Hide posts from this person in a post's menu. It hides everything they post, without telling you who they are.
