How do votes work on Buzz?
Bakkar help centre ·
- Up or down. Tap an arrow to vote. Tap it again to take the vote back, or tap the other arrow to switch.
- Net score. The number between the arrows is up votes minus down votes.
- Your own post. You can vote on your own post too, like on Reddit.
- The floor. At a net score of -5 a post is hidden from Buzz. See why posts disappear.
- Pace. Voting on a very large number of posts in a few minutes pauses voting for a short while ("That's a lot of votes. Take a short break."), which stops scripts from gaming the feed.
Votes are anonymous. Nobody can see who voted on a post.
